Explore our 26 acres or hike your way to every trail within Starved Rock State Park's 2630 acres, starting right from your treehouse. Maybe venture out to Matthiessen and Buffalo Rock State Parks. 13 miles of trails, sandstone canyons and bluffs waterfalls and forested beauty.
On/In/by the Water
Kayak the creek right out to the Illinois River. Rent a boat for a day of water sports or get on a 2 hour paddlewheel cruise right up the road. Maybe spend a few hours at one of the 2 indoor water parks in the area if it’s too cold outside. Kayaks will be available on site. More rentals to come available as we slowly open.
Cook in or Dine Out
Cook a meal with the family in your treehouse's full kitchen and then roast marshmallows around the bonfire. Or head into historic downtown Ottawa, IL (9 mins) for a dinner and a movie. Or the charming downtown Utica (10 mins) for dinner, some wine and cupcakes. Or just order in from a local restaurant, stay in your treehouse and forget about life down below for a while.
